Release Notes

This page highlights new features, improvements, and bug fixes released across the ClientMate platform. Updates are grouped by release version and deployment date to help you stay informed about what’s new and what’s changed.

We’re continuously improving ClientMate to make running your business easier. Check back here for the latest feature releases, enhancements, and fixes as we continue to grow the platform alongside our customers.

v1.2.8 [Released August 20, 2026]

ClockWise

  • New Feature: QR Code Sign-In & Sign-Out
    • Clients can now be signed in and out using their own QR codes.
    • Added support for generating separate Sign In and Sign Out QR codes for each client.
    • Added support for generating separate Sign In and Sign Out QR codes for each client.
    • Existing QR codes can be securely reprinted or regenerated when needed.
    • QR scanning works alongside the existing ClockWise attendance options, so businesses can choose the workflow that works best for them.
  • New Feature: Client Archiving
    • Clients can now be archived when they are no longer actively attending, without deleting their historical records.
    • Archived clients are removed from active ClockWise workflows while their previous session history remains available.
    • Archived clients can be reactivated if they return.
    • Added bulk archiving for managing multiple clients at once.
    • Scheduling now respects whether a client is active or archived.
    • Session history and attendance records remain available after a client has been archived.
    • QR codes belonging to archived clients can no longer be used to sign in or out.

Improvements

  • Internal scheduling and public bookings are now included in ClockWise session-log emails.
  • Improved QR and attendance handling for lifecycle changes and edge cases.
  • Added extra protection against double sign-ins

v1.2.7 [Released August 7, 2026]

Relay

  • Improved the public intake form experience with a faster, more responsive interface across desktop and mobile devices.

ClockWise

  • New Feature: Client self-booking — Businesses with flexible schedules can now allow clients to book their own sessions online based on available times and capacity.
  • Added tag and service management to the Owner Dashboard so businesses can create and update their own client tags and services.
  • Improved group sign-in to make checking in multiple clients smoother.

ClockIn

  • Improved the shift date and time picker to make adding and editing shifts more reliable.

Owner Dashboard

  • Redesigned dashboard navigation with a new sidebar and a more consistent experience when switching between business locations.
  • Simplified setup for Kumon centres with optional preconfigured services and client tags, reducing the amount of initial setup required.

Relay

  • Added Relay Board to Owner Dashboard
  • New Feature: Form Builder to take orders directly through ClientMate platform

ClockWise

  • New Feature: Merge Contacts to easily delete duplicates and ensure the Group Sign-In functions as intended
  • Minor UI upgrades to group sign-in

v1.2.5 [Released July 16, 2026]

ClockWise

  • New Feature: Group Sign-In — Send one group SMS rather than separate messages when a siblings sign in and out together.

Web Dashboard

  • Owners can now create, update and delete client and contact information directly from the Owner Dashboard.
  • New Feature: Basic Scheduler — available on all paid subscriptions to remove the need for Acuity integration.

Documentation

  • Updated Privacy Policy to v2.0.

ClockWise

  • Fixed row highlighting in the default (non-legacy) Live Board.
  • Added calendar icons to date fields for clarity.

Relay

  • Added timeline to track order fulfilment history.
  • Added date filter to orders displayed.
  • Updated the Catalogue Builder UI.

Web Dashboard

  • Upgraded dashboard to tab display rather than stacked cards.
  • Fixed time zone conversion for SMS usage graphs.
  • Added export SMS logs as CSV.

v1.2.3 [Released June 28, 2026]

System

  • Updated to Maven 3.5.16.

ClockWise

  • Added Export to CSV option for past ClockWise session logs.
  • Added functionality to remove students from ClockWise dashboard.
  • Fixed missing appointment time in ClockWise session logs.
  • Update Clients UI in Dashboard for a cleaner mobile experience.

ClockIn

  • Updated authorization logic to check for all subscription assets rather than just tiers.
  • Send a text to business owner at the beginning of the hour if a log is open for at least 8 hours.
  • Highlight open ClockIn logs exceeding 8 hours.
  • Added option to retroactively add a sign-out to an open ClockIn log.

Relay

  • Added customer name to text notifications.

Web Dashboard

  • Fixed bug: Billing & Payments are now accessible from all pages and not just from Dashboard.
  • Collapse menu by default on small screens.

v1.2.2 [Released June 24, 2026]

  • Decoupled subscription from org creation.
  • Added version to frontend.
  • Expanded ClockWise Session Log Search to search all logs rather being restricted to per-client. Filtering by name is now optional.
  • Updated ClockWise Dashboard Client Notes UI.

v1.2.1 [Released June 23, 2026]

  • Fixed ClockWise session report emails not always sending.
  • Fixed ClockWise Client Information date picker closing unexpectedly.
  • Minor UI improvements.

v1.2.0 [Released June 22, 2026]

  • Initial Relay release featuring:
    • Google Forms integration and display orders in a Kanban-style board.
    • The ability to change the fulfilment state of each order.
    • Receive text notifications when a new order is placed.
